Strength Coaches
The field of STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING is constantly evolving. Strength coaches around the globe continue to look for new methods to provide their athletes with the winning edge. The recent invention of The Rotex has provided the missing component by unlocking the power of rotation. Rotation against strong resistance effectively strengthens the small stabilizer/rotator muscles surrounding the hip, shoulder and ankle joints to levels never before achieved. Using traditional methods, when exercises are performed to target the muscles surrounding these joints, the larger more powerful muscles get relatively stronger, rendering these small rotators relatively weaker. The Rotex is the only exercise machine which uses weight bearing, closed kinetic chain positioning to achieve almost total isolation of the stabilizers in rotation. By strengthening the small rotators of the hip on The Rotex, the larger flexor muscle groups (quads and hip flexors) release, causing the hamstrings and glutes to engage more fully. Likewise, when the rotator muscles of the shoulder are strengthened, the flexor groups of the upper body release, engaging the muscles of the back to their relative maximum. The Rotex is a missing piece of the puzzle in an effort to achieve the "complete athlete." Combining the power of rotation with current strength protocols performed in the gym, and on the field, will greatly enhance the overall superior training effect.
Please read through all Performance and Rehabilitation for more specifics on how The Rotex will benefit your athletes.
